The Brevard County Board is considering donating nearly $1 million to local charities.  This is wrong.  We pay taxes to the county for the running of the county not for charity donations!

I have no problem with any of the charities.  I even donated to one of them myself.  The problem is the County Board making charitiable donations on my behalf.  Spending money on good causes other than for the purpose for which it is collected is still misappropriation of funds.

President-Elect Obama needs to speak out against the corruption in Illinois.

It will be good for Illinois.

It will be good for the county.

It will be good for Obama. It will improve many Republicans opinion’s of him and make governing easier if it is clear that he will not tolerate corruption.

What is the difference between the Auto Bailouts and “The Bridge to Nowhere”?

Essentially, nothing!

Both are plans to use money from the US Treasury to benefit a small portion of the population.
